How to add a network printer in windows vista home premium:
- map network drive \\host\print$ (check the option “reconnect at logon”)
- open control panel, click printer, add a printer
- add a local printer
- create a new port
- fill the port name with format : \\host\printer_name (example:\\192.168.1.10\PublicPrinter)
- click OK
- a window popped up asking for a driver, choose the driver, then click next
- do you want to use this printer as the default printer? choose your answer
- finish
